I devised this activity for my yr7 class, but it would work just as well in primary school (KS2) when introducing tally charts and bar charts. I asked the class to record the colour of the first 30 cars they saw on their way home from school, and then make a tally chart and draw a barchart with that information. You can of course adapt it to suit. Pls do take the time to leave feedback, as s trainee teacher it would be very valuable to know what you think. Thank you!

Thanks for a brilliant idea! Adding drawing a pie chart in addition to tally chart and bar chart would ne splendid too!
