This is a really nice tarsia on four operations, the numbers are generally quite small and no knowledge of BIDMAS is required. This is appropriate for low ability KS3 and would make an excellent activity at any stage of the lesson although probably would be best as a starter. This would also allow you to listen to student discussion on this topic which can be so valuable. Thank you for sharing.
