Taxonomy is a system of classification used by scientists to organize organisms. The power point goes over the taxonomic levels and the main characteristics of the three domains and six kingdoms.
Students will know the levels of taxonomy and the characteristics of the main categories and should be able to classify organisms from a macro and micro level. A brief review of viruses is included for comparison so students can see how viruses are not living.
