Teacher CPD: AfL and Demonstrating Pupil Progress; How do you know your students are learning?

This inspirational CPD session is designed for new and developing teachers that would benefit from focused discussion, time to reflect on their own practice, and a chance consider effective strategies that will enable them to ensure ALL students are learning and making the progress they are capable of in their lessons.

This interactive CPD package can be delivered in a discrete one hour-long session or as part of a sequence of CPD sessions developing best practice. It is packed with activities, discussion ideas and AfL strategies to consider and model. This CPD session has been delivered many times and always received excellent evaluations.

Session objectives:

• Share and evaluate a range of ideas for AfL and plenaries in lessons.
• Recognise indicators of learning and understand how to show progress in lessons.
• Know what Ofsted (and your own school) expects in terms of progress.
