Students are given this back to back in a clip on badge.
They are given when students show expertise with a certain skill.
They then become 'peer&' experts to help others with the skill: they are to help others but not to do it for them.
This has worked really well in all classes, it has been a good motivator even in the difficult classes. At first I thought that some would be embarassed about using them but this was not the case.

Love this idea - I encourage peer support and have my own experts - though I normally mark them out verbally. Going to develop this idea to include badges to wear! Great Idea - thank you.
