The BFG by Roald Dahl Literacy Year 2 planning

1 week plan for literacy based on the BFG. Suitable for Year 2 but could be adapted for Years 1 and 3 if needed. Planning includes a guided reading session with all the texts and questions prepared at 3 levels, differentiated tasks to at least 3 levels, all resources needed for the lesson, activ primary flipcharts for each lesson (copies of slides on Powerpoint) including extracts from the story for shared reading and Success Criteria for every group for each lesson. Everything you need to teach literacy for a week!
