It’s baaaaaaaaacck! For the ELEVENTH year! 60 questions based on the world’s happenings over the last year of January to December 2021. Covers News, Media, Celebs, Music, Politics and general what’s been happening. I’ve tried to keep it light and not too much lockdown drama as we deserve a bit of fun after the year we’ve all just had!

And, oh, what a year, it started with a lockdown and maks and has ended with us all back in masks again! We’ve had school closures, UFO declasssification, Twitter politician bans, free school meals chaos, logo mockery, legends passing, inflation increases galore, volcanic eruptions, billionaires made, controversial interviews, pay rise denials, vigils, stock market floatations, canal blockages, football fan fury, cartoon records, Cake Wars, movie records, climate change plans, Brexit rows, billionaires in space, Euro 2020 a year late, free Britney, record temperatures, US Open history, crisp logo change, fuel shortages, Bond movie delays, cult series warnings, oldest man in space, Facebook controversies, record veg, a Swedish band comeback, a spooky sequel, PM ramblings, variant fears, Lionesses triumph, NASA moon plans, I;m a Celebrity chaos and soooooo much more! How much can YOU remember?

The questions are pupil-accessible being a range of news based events, celebrity, music and movies covering a wide range of topics to make it so there’s something for everyone.

Split into 4 rounds of three months each. Good for filling an hour in the last week of term and a good informal one to do with your form if you have an hour to fill with something that’s not just a ‘watch a video’ and you actually want to spend some time with your class! I tend to pad it out into an hour and a half with discussions, sweets, prizes and rewards between and during rounds.

Answer sheet for students to fill in on final slide.

Lasts around 60 minutes with a form, I usually split them into groups and give rewards etc.

Have a good Christmas break and see you in January 2022!

PS, if anything exciting happens I will alter the last couple of December questions and reupload before the end of term, would be free to re-download in that event!
