This resource is a ten page PDF document with activities to do based on the book The Birthday Duck by Michael Morpurgo and Sam Usher. This document contains eight worksheets for students.

The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are comprehension questions, vocabulary activities (compound words, verbs, dictionary work and contractions), a Venn diagram task plus a making connections worksheet and a writing activity.

There is a double-up of one worksheet because it is provided with a colour picture on one sheet and a black and white picture on the other for teachers that may not want to print in colour.
