A five-page activity where students learn about the background to the Christmas Truce of 1914. Students utilise primary and secondary sources, the Sainsburys advert from 2014 and the Paul McCartney Pipes of Peace Song from 1983. A number of tasks are set out where students analyse source evidence and then students move on to research the events and create a poster or infographic.
