A lesson that I use with year 7 as part of my Genesis Scheme of Work. The lesson starts with a recap from the previous lesson (Noah’s Ark) but the main aim of the lesson is to get students familiar with Abraham and his covenant with God. Students should be able to define a covenant and be able to give details of the promises made on both sides. Although I use this with year 7, this could be used up to GCSE level with little adaptation.
Included - PPT to guide you through the lesson, templates for exam questions, starter task, worksheet and homework
Other Lessons in this scheme of work can be found on TES.

- Interpretations of Genesis
