The Day the Crayons Quit-Identifying word types and sentence imitation using 'when'

This lesson starts with looking at the word types in each letter (contractions, nouns, verbs, adjectives, proper nouns and questions). Children have to scan a letter of their choice and add it to their word type chart.
The second activitiy looks at Black Crayons letter, and uses sentence imitation ‘its not fair when’. Children then write sentences using this phrase and applying it to their own ideas.
