Following initial discussion and prediction, students are then directed to complete some simple statistical analysis to test their hypotheses.
Students are then able to use graphical skills to produce a choropleth map, exploring spatial distribution.
An additional activity relating to global patterns of terrorism could be used as an extension or separate lesson in its own right.
