The Gingerbread Man with Symbols Resources

The "Gingerbread Man with Symbols " is a resource pack for teachers, particularly those working with SEND, EYFS, and / or KS1 children.
It is designed to complement work on Folk Tales - The Gingerbread Man in particular.
This pack integrates learning areas such as storytelling, speaking and listening, reading, writing, matching and word work.
The pack includes activities like filling in missing letters in a puzzle related to the story, supported by both symbols and words, available in both colour and black and white versions.
The inclusion of 15 symbol cards aids in speaking and listening exercises, story sequencing, vocabulary development and matching activities. These are in colour and black and white.
The gingerbread-themed borders, provided in both colour and black and white, offer a creative space for children to write or draw about the story.
Additionally, the pack includes three coloured gingerbread-themed cards along with three for black and white cards for colouring.
The pack forms the basis of a lesson or unit of work.
