The Last Wolf by Michael Morpurgo - Task Maps

There are 5 task maps, each with 8 different independent tasks to go along with the novel, The Last Wolf by Michael Morpurgo. This book is in the grey book band. Task maps are based on Bloom’s questions and as such the questions/tasks are split into those six categories.

One task map will usually be enough to cover in a week/2 to 3 reading lessons, so I have used this with reading groups over the course of 5 weeks.

The novel is split as follows:

Task map 1: p.7-21
Task map 2: p.22-37
Task map 3: p.38-61
Task map 4: p.62-79
Task map 5: p.80 to the end

Warning! Task map 1 includes a task about making a family tree which you may wish to change depending on the learners in your class.
