This worksheet looks at how wheat is grown, its life cycle and its reproductive parts. It follows on from a previous video explaining the journey from Soil to Sandwich, as told by ‘Eva’, the fictional miller’s wife from the Tide Mill in Woodbridge. Children will learn about the life cycle of wheat and take part in activities to consolidate their learning about plants. The resource also offers a look at primary sources, asking children to read the Mill’s log book and work out how much wheat used to be milled. The resource is aimed at KS2/KS3 and has activities covering elements of the Science, English and Maths curriculum. The Worksheet has a related video which can be found online at https://woodbridgetidemill.org.uk/learning-resources/
