The Lion and the Unicorn

A heavily adapted version of The Lion and the Unicorn, by Shirley Hughes.
I have created a shortened and adapted version of this story, including sensory elements accessible for learners with additional needs or Early Years provision. Excellent resource for when you are studying/exploring the War. In the download there is the following:

• The Lion and the Unicorn Sensory Story PPT (editable) which includes pictures and the use of Communication in Print to support the writing.
• The Lion and the Unicorn Teacher’s Overview, including what props and resources you will need.
• A differentiated writing and ordering activity to support the teaching and recall of the story - differentiated three ways from symbol use, to independent writing.
