Resource includes a PowerPoint which leads children through collecting poetic vocabulary, exploring the poem, to creating their own magic box poems using Kit’s structure for support. Had lots of success using this with reluctant writers in year 6 due to poetic form and guided structure but could be used with all of KS2. Included copy of poem, ‘shuffled’ version for chldren to sequence and support frame for SEN/support. Hope it’s useful and saves time.
