Presentation designed for use as an enjoyable starter or plenary in upper KS2 or lower KS3. The blank puzzle sheets provides the opportunity to use the activity as meaningful cover work or as a homework/extension activity, The activity can be teacher led or as a group/paired activity. Many students find the tasks easier with pen and paper but some students enjoy the challenge of abstract mental imaging.
In each task pupils are presented with 6 interlocking “sums” and are challenged to find the correct numbers to make all statements correct, Navigation through the presentation is by clicking on appropriate icons clearly shown. The whole presentation contains 48 slides and15 challenges of varying degrees of difficulty.
