The Passion of Christ - Four full lessons (Arrest, Trial, Crucifixion and Holy Communion)

This document contains four full lessons on the events leading up to Jesus’ death, covering The Arrest, The Trial and The Crucifixion of Jesus as well as the Holy Communion.

Each lesson follows a clear structure and can therefore be used exactly how it has been laid out but can also easily be adapted. Each lesson contains:

A starter activity, main activity and plenary
Short video clip and range of images to target different learning needs.
Differentiated activities, learning objectives and outcomes
Detailed information
Various AFL activities to meet different learning needs.

There is also a strong level of differentiation in each lesson to not only stretch and challenge the most able but to also promote good learning outcomes for the least able and the middle ability pupils. A great range of lessons which gives pupils a strong insight into the events leading up to Jesus’ death.
