The Sheep-Pig Literacy Topic KS2

This resource consists of 20 tasks linked to the story, The Sheep-Pig by Dick-King Smith.
These tasks have been used with a higher ability Year 3 group, but could easily be adapted to higher KS1 or any lower KS2 class.
There are:
6 comprehension tasks, each based on 2 chapters from the book.
4 oral tasks, focusing on the children’s speaking and listening skills, in order to further enhance their understanding of the book.
10 written tasks - These focus on singular and plural, use of adjectives, describing settings and characters, rhyming, playscripts and newspapers.
