The Toy Box - KS1 Dance Resource Pack

Our Key Stage 1 plans introduce simple choreography to the children through easy-to-follow creative tasks. Cross-curricular topics are explored through fun activities that develop their physical skills, imagination, confidence and social skills.

The Toy Box pack includes 3 lesson plans, each focusing on a different role:
Robots - try out some street dance locking moves
Cars - create a duet and go on a fun journey
Jack-in-a-Box - surprise your friends with this jumpy lesson!

We’re often asked how long each lesson plan should last for…and really it’s up to you and your class! There’s enough content included on each plan to last for one 45 minute session, but you might find that you all love it so much that each plan could extend over two or three sessions. That’s why we’ve added in lots of different activities into each pack.
