The Tragic Love Story of Bosnia’s Romeo and Juliet Reading Comprehension

In this activity bundle, students will explore the tragic love story of Bosko and Admira, a young couple from Sarajevo, Bosnia, who were killed during the Bosnian war in the 1990s. The story of Bosko and Admira has been compared to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, as their love was tragically cut short by the violence and conflict of war.

The bundle includes a 6-page reading comprehension activity titled “A Modern Day Romeo and Juliet: The Tragic Love Story of Bosko and Admira,” accompanied by original photos.
