This is mostly comprehension/language activities for each chapter. There aren't many suggested writing tasks as you teach the text.
Very thorough. If you have looked for WitW unit plans elsewhere you are well aware of the dearth of material out there. This unit effectively makes up for that absence. It is quite comprehensive covering definitions and exercises associated with the use of the many literary devices employed in the novel, the vocabulary from each chapter, various SPAG points pertaining to the text, and a wide assortment of Qs regarding implicit and explicit understandings of the text. If you have taught this novel without a decent backup structure this unit plan will definitely fill in that gap as well.
