Thermal Conductors and Insulators

This colorful PowerPoint presentation will make it easier for you to explain thermal conductors and insulators to your pupil(s) / child (ren) .
It is made up of seven slides and starts with a simple, basic definition of thermal insulators. It is followed by examples of thermal insulators ( 7 materials + 7 illustrative pictures) .
The next slide explains what is meant by thermal conductors. 7 examples of thermal conductors are given ( with illustrative pictures).

The final slide is a fun activity that will give you the opportunity to practice what has been learned so far.
The learner is presented with 8 images of objects that can be found in the home. They are then asked to say which category each object belongs to (insulator or conductor). Once the learner provides you with their answer , you check it out by clicking or pressing the SPACE BAR, ENTER, PAGE DOWN, or right arrow key. The object will automatically move to the right box.
