Travel Writing - Analysing and creating an appropriate article (National Geographic Traveller)

This is a couple of lessons (you could definitely stretch it out and break down the resources into more manageable chunks for less able students) focussing on the National Geographic Traveller magazine articles. It starts with some research questions to ascertain target audience and reasons for this, then I have provided a work sheet which allows students to deconstruct an existing article (taken from the internet) to eventually be able to create their own.
It works especially well with able GCSE students or with English Language A-Level students.
