The Treasure Island Movie Guide | Questions | Worksheet (TV - 1990) challenges students to put themselves into Jim Hawkin’s shoes and evaluate the decisions he makes in Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1882 novel. Discuss and determine if there is a protagonist and antagonist in the story. Ask students to write a first person journal entry as if they were Jim explaining the lessons they learned from the famous Long John Silver.

Note: This movie guide is for the 1990 version of this film with Charlton Heston and Christian Bale.

This resource consists of 13 high-level, short answer reflection and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
