A board game for collaborative learning about the experience of soldiers in the trenches of WW1.
Game based on snakes and ladders, students move toy soldiers around a game board to collect information about the hardships of trench life.
I developed this game with year 8 students in mind, the game can be used as stimulus for writing in the second half of a lesson.
Game cards are easily edited and provided in PPT slide for ease of edits.
MORE ABLE students can develop own game cards after play.
YOU WILL NEED: Dice and counters of some description - pen lids always work, toy soldiers a little more fun!
