I'm a little bit torn when it comes to teaching trig equations using the cast diagram. It seems like teaching without the understanding, however I find they get the right answer more often with it. So I spend time making sure they understand why it works before introducing it. Here's something I have for my year 11s doing the Further Maths AQA qualification
