This is two lessons focussing on Elizabeth I's image in two different ways.
Pupils start with a quick Q and A about the importance of image.
They then have a short teacher talk about how Elizabethan women should look, and they then get to replicate this on the handout. Pupils watch a
short video, link included, on Elizabethan image. Pupils then have a short teacher talk about the impact of achieving this look, and again get to replicate this.
The second lesson looks at image in portraits and teaches pupils about inferences and how to support inferences, through example and then through focussed practice.
