This lesson is designed for a 75 minute class. The tasks can easily be extended if needed.
The lesson is designed with a clear focus on typography. I have used this lesson with the BTEC Tech Award in Creative Media Production.
The lesson teaches students imperative terminology for Typography. As well as applying their knowledge to an existing texts as well as an opportunity to create their own Typrography for a publishing product.
The Plenary encourages students to attend a classroom exhibition where they can move around the room and provide feedback to their peers. It works really nice with some ambient music.
