This resource was created as part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, a celebration of creativity that took place in 2022 across the four nations of the UK. Ten projects brought together science, technology, engineering, the arts and maths, to create unforgettable experiences in person and online for an audience of 18 million. This resource has been created as part of UNBOXED’s SEE MONSTER project.
Schools across the UK took part in the All Aboard SEE MONSTER assembly. Use this 12-minute video to enable your pupils to virtually climb aboard the offshore platform that’s been transformed into an art installation – a world first. Learn about reuse, the water cycle and the great British weather from the scientists and artists that created SEE MONSTER. Take inspiration and come up with your own ideas to change the world.
Follow up the assembly with classroom activities, including the listening comprehension sheet.
Use the Build a SEE MONSTER pack, to construct your class’s own Monster from recycled materials. Unleash your pupils’ creativity by decorating it.
