Complete unit of English for Upper KS2 - Diary Entry, which links to WW2 evacuation and could be used as a stand alone unit or as a follow on from the previous unit of Missing Person’s Report. In total, just over 2 weeks worth of lessons with PowerPoint slides, activity sheets and supporting resources.

• Analysis of specific example to identify purpose of each paragraph
• Practise sentence type writing - De;De sentences
• Detailed writing over three days - Detailed structure strip to aid pupils with writing as well as WAGOLL to support teaching practitioner
