This lesson plan aligns with Oklahoma academic standard 1.N.1.2, in which students will use visual representatives to represent whole numbers between 10 and 100. Use the first sheet to teach your lesson that the towers with ten blocks represent ten and the block with 100 blocks represents 100. Count the towers of ten by tens until you reach 100, to help students understand the concept. The next sheet is to help students practice counting numbers made of both towers of ten blocks. Finally, there is a page for independent practice.
