An 85 word account of someone's addiction to fashion. Pupils read the account and then complete a crossword demonstrating understanding of the extract. The second exercise is a categorisation of 14 statements of people's attitudes towards fashion - whether they are a fashion victim or not. This leads to pupils writing independently about their own attitudes towards fashion. They use the vocabulary from the first two exercises and are also provided with further expressions to exploit. This resource supports students providing opinions and justifying arguments. It is also a fun way of leading on to speaking practice debating the importance of fashion.
