I designed these puzzle worksheets to use in school sessions in connection with my class reader, The Shimmer on the Glass used to teach KS2 and KS3 children about life in Victorian England.
The Shimmer on the Glass is the sixth book in The Scar Gatherer series, a sequence of seven time travel adventures spanning British history from Roman times up to WW2. The series website has a wealth of additional material on each period, written for children. The Victorian pages include a Victorian timeline, pages about famous Victorians, and a page on Victorian customs relating to death!
