Viking Math Quest- This Viking Quest is designed to be a cross-curricular link between humanities and maths. There are 30 word problems for the students to solve, covering addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. There are 3 rounds of questions which they must solve. Once they solve the questions they are given clues written in runes. They must solve these clues in order to stop a Viking attack on the Anglo-Saxons. All answers are provided as well as teacher instructions. Children can work independently or as part of a group.

Viking Runes: This resource will help your class become familiar with Viking runes. It gives them different messages in runes which they use their key to decode.

Viking Word Search: A word search puzzle worksheet featuring vocabulary related to the Vikings. Use this to introduce vocab at the start of a Viking Unit or as a treat for early finishers. Kids love puzzles and word searches are a great way to improve spelling while having fun. There are 19 vocabulary words to find in this activity and they might be found in any direction including backwards. This means it is fairly challenging so it should keep puzzlers busy for a while.

Viking Fact Cards- Brighten up your room with these Viking Fact cards! This resource contains 20 Viking fact cards which can be used to display around the class as visual aids for the students. Each card contains an interesting fact about the Vikings. Teachers may even learn something new! Because no display can be complete without the work of your students, there is also 5 empty fact sheets which can be given to the students so they can record their own information!

Editable Viking Labels- contains 8 blank labels. Size of the labels are: 2.4" X 6.9" Use them to label your library buckets, classroom containers, areas of your room or use them to create signs for your classroom. The possibilities are endless!!
