The Anzac notebook is to teach the students about Anzac Day and the Gallipoli Landings. It was designed for students with special needs, it has visuals throughout and would be suitable for young primary students in mainstream.
It has a large number of activities: The Story of the Gallipoli landings; activities relating to wearing and making poppies, the Australian flag; A section on the Last Post and listening to First World War songs.
I felt it was important to make these resources as it is over 100 years since the Gallipoli Landings and an important Anzac Day
