This concept and approach will help mathematics students and other students as well to visualise and conceptualize the concept being taught.
Many times in our maths lessons students quickly used the words I don’t get it.
Most of the times this is because the student may not be paying attention or the student is trying to learn upside down. Students will say dont get it meaning they dont understand. When they say this it is very important that teachers explain that Knowledege comes first before understanding. Most of the times in maths the student really need to copy the example and follow a pattern which will help them to repeat a step by step pattern. After knowing and following a pattern then understanding starts to grow.
