The Horror of Hartwood Academy is a warning story about children sneaking into school at night even though they have been warned not to do it.

The story follows the warning story pattern used in Pie Corbett’s Talk for Writing teaching structure, and, while written for LKS2, can be edited to suit KS1. This story could be used for guided reading, story mapping, art inspiration, etc.
