Weekly reasoning questions - Year 5 Autumn term

Another great resource of maths questions for you.

Here we have six different sets of reasoning questions for you to use with your Year 5 class with five different questions (and answers) on each set.

Each set has five varied questions in order for children to continually practice their reasoning skills across the maths curriculum (and not just the current topic they are learning). The first three questions link to what would be described as one mark questions in an assessment with the following two questions stretching their understanding slightly further.

All questions have been designed so that children have prior learning in each area (in relation to the current time of the year).

Further resources will be made available throughout the year and will be linked to their learning.
