‘Kim’s Game’ is one of several videos I have created to support students at home: as they take on the challenges of distance learning, they will need help to keep anxiety levels down. My videos are simple and effective Mindfulness tasks for everyone: involving focus; observation; thinking about thoughts; using senses and breathing. Share this video with your students, to encourage them to maintain their wellbeing during this uncertain time. Use it as a mindful moment, brain break or transition task.
This task is about training your brain muscle to be mindfully focussed, using a well known game called Kim’s game. In it you will need to work out the missing object. Remember to be mindful of how it feels in your mind and body to focus.
