Using DFE guidance and statutory RSE content, this KS3 lesson about healthy lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise and sleep, can be used as a PSHE lesson or two tutor time activities. Best used as an introduction to a bigger unit of work about physical and mental health.

Answers and ideas for facilitating the slides are provided in the notes section.

The first two slides are for teacher information only and include ‘top tips for improving pupils discussion’ and helpful ‘teacher must-knows’ which condenses the relevant DFE statutory guidance into useful nuggets.

Drawing on 12 years as a pastoral lead, I’ve designed these resources to save time for tutors and teachers and help them to deliver interesting and thought-provoking lessons for their pupils. The content is up-to-date content and meets the DFE statutory guidance.
