A series of lessons that develop and understanding of the historical origins of terrorism through to more recent modern day groups, individuals and incidents. The idea is to break down stereotypes and assumptions of what makes a terrorist and to show that terrorists come from a range of backgrounds and cultures. This first part has 5 lessons;

  1. Introduction and categorising terrorism
  2. Robespierre and the Reign of Terror
  3. Were the Suffragettes terrorists?
  4. Debate lesson - is terrorism ever acceptable?
  5. The Munich Olympics 1972

There will be two more sets of lessons to follow on from this when editing is complete.
