Children work out the value of each letter of the alphabet and then using addition, work out a total for each of the names.
There are 2 names for each letter of the alphabet shown on the first worksheet.
There is a grid for children to write the numbers under the names and an answer sheet to check if they are correct.
There are some lesson or activity ideas provided on the final page for literacy and maths activities.
Numbers involved are up to 101 and then using a calculator over 100.
