I have updated this resource. The new planning has a 2019 prefix. I have also included some sheets that could be laminated for the children to make tally charts, pictograms and block diagrams using cubes and counters.

This unit of work follow the White Rose Maths small steps guidance for statistics to be taught as block 2 in the Spring Term. It covers 7 sessions. The plan is detailed and hopefully easy to follow. For each lesson their are slides on the flipchart which has been created using Activ Primary. you should be able to import and convert in your own whiteboard software but I will also include it as a PDF to use as it is. It has 29 slides to guide you through the key questions and learning for each lesson. There are worksheets to accompany each lesson, many of which as differentiated. Most lessons also have greater depth challenge activities. The worksheets have our cursive font but I have included them as PDF and a word document if you did want to change the font.

Thank you so much. Your plans and resources are an excellent starting point and are so useful. Have you created any measures planning for Spring Block 4? We are behind and will be going on to this next week but I can't seem to see any within your resorces. Thank you

Thank you so much for sharing! Great resources as a starting point using White Rose for first time! Are you creating shape or fractions any time soon as I have managed to catch up with you! I was way behind during calculation but it paid off during multiplication and division as they flew through that! Million thanks.
