This resource normally takes two full lessons to complete, but could last longer depending on the speaking and listening exercises. If there are pupils who do not celebrate Christmas in your class, the lesson can be adapted to be about treating people to a special dinner instead.

This is great. The powerpoint really adds to the lesson. A fantastic Christmas lesson that leads to good speaking and listening and writing from the pupils who will be engaged. the reading texts are fun too and they set up the writing. The slides related to the reading texts are a great way of checking the kids' understanding of them and getting them to present to the class at the same time. My classes really enjoyed this. It took us 3 lessons to complete.
