3 weeks worth of whole-class reading planning based on ‘The Green Ship’ by Quentin Blake. Planned for a year 3 class. Resources include plan and a PDF of the book. Each lesson is designed to be around 30 minutes long. Range of activities included such as character descriptions, role play and comparing and contrasting settings as well as a range of reading skills including prediction, inference and visualisation.
