10 well-presented whole class / guided reading activities that focus specifically on inference. Many pupils need to develop their answers by referencing the text. These are designed to help pupils give detailed answers, based on the text, relating to inference questions.
All extracts that are used are available for free online but I have copied them into the document to make it more user-friendly. I have also included the questions on printable LO slips ready to be printed and stuck in books.
This aimed at Year 3 but would be suitable for focused practice throughout KS2.
