Ever since my PGCE I have been convinced that every Maths topic has a unique and interesting way to be taught. 7 years later and I have collected and created 100s of resources to prove my point. All resources, including IB and A Level, are designed to be thoroughly engaging but yet cover every bit of content required with plenty of practise too. Teach LCM with the life of the Cicada bugs or teach proportions using celebrity faces and the golden ratio. All fully animated engaging powerpoints.

There are 4 codes from throughout history in which students need to break. Each code gets progressively harder leading to the final code of a simplified Enigma machine. It is impossible to solve a code if the previous one has not been cracked as each one provides vital clues for the next code. The final code (the simplifed enigma) once broken is a 3 digit number.

This resource can be used in many different way. One way is buying a 3 digit combination lock and locking a box/locker full of prizes. Then send all students the presentation. Or send all students one code a week if you want to stretch it out more.

The first slide needs to be edited to suit your plans.
