A clear, structured worksheet with some Economic, Political and Social reasons why the Romans invaded Britain.

At the top of the sheet there’s space for defining ‘Economic’, ‘Political’ and ‘Social’, alongside images to help the visual learners remember those terms.

Underneath that, are a selection of reasons why the Romans invaded Britain.

All learners are to read through the various reasons and classify them (my students used different coloured highlighters to do that) according to whether it classified as an economic, political or social reason.

High achievers then use the line underneath each point to explain/ justify their reasoning.

Additionally, there is a recap sheet to be used the following lesson, to help the students remember the information they learned.
